How did you attract/address your audience?

My aim for my magazine is to appeal teenagers who are into the rock genre.
I did this buy including plugs for AC\DC tickets and free posters.

I then asked a Erin, who has never seen the magazine before, if the plugs and posters on the front page made it more appealing.

After this, I decided that plugs and posters are the best way to attract and address the audience for a rock audience.
